Evaluation of mussel longline culture technology in non-traditional areas

This project will refine the developed longline technology. It will generally refine this technology to provide design and protocol suitable to different water conditions. This project will determine the yield performance of mussels cultured in longline at varying primary productivity of the culture environment. The economic viability and social acceptability of using the refined technology will also be determined. IEC materials will be developed.
